262,731 Passengers Are Expected To Travel Via Kuwait Airport On National Holiday
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation said on Tuesday that the total expected passenger traffic during the national holiday between February 22 and 26 is about 262,731 passengers, compared to 187,152 in the same period last year.
The official spokesman for Civil Aviation, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, told Kuwait News Agency that 113,337 passengers are expected to depart from the airport during the National Holidays, compared to 102,010 passengers during the same period last year. The number of incoming passengers during the holiday is 149,394, compared to 85,142 in the same period last year.
A total number of 1,845 flights are expected to operate during this period. This includes 924 incoming flights and 921 departing flights.
The popular destinations for travel are Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul and Doha, he added.
