22,000 Expats Deported From Country In 19 Mths

A total of 22,427 expatriates were deported from the country during the period between January 1, 2020 and September 1, 2021, reports Al-Qabas daily. The Ministry of Interior, in response to MP Mohalhal Al-Mudhaf’s question, affirmed that the criteria on which the administrative deportation was based are in line with the provisions of Amiri Decree No. 17/1959 concerning the residency of foreigners law and its executive regulations.
