Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport recently foiled the attempt of an Ethiopian woman to smuggle 2 kilos of qat hidden in her bags. The Ethiopian was arrested on suspicion because she looked confused when she approached the inspection desk. The contraband and the smuggler have been referred to the General Department of Drug Control.
