A security source told «Al Jarida’ that the men of the Investigation Department of the General Administration of Residence Investigations developed a work plan, in coordination with several government agencies, and held several meetings with representatives of those authorities, pointing to activating the mechanism of linking the residence investigations with government agencies in order to limit the number of fake companies and institutions, And another did not update any of its data, in addition to determining the licenses of recruitment agencies for domestic workers involved in human trafficking operations, and stressing that there are strict procedures awaiting those involved in the residency trade.

The source added that the first of this joint work on the part related to companies and institutions resulted in the suspension of licenses of more than 1,200 companies and institutions by the Ministry of Trade, based on the recommendations of the General Administration of Residence Investigation, indicating that the suspension of licenses came after investigations conducted by the detectives about the activities of their owners in operations Trafficking.

He revealed that the detectives had data on more than 160,000 violators of the Residence Law and the companies registered therein, in addition to the availability of new information for more than 25,000 violators who surrendered during the amnesty period for violators of the Residence Law, noting that the residence and workforce investigations identified the companies that brought these workers And I gave them the streets.

He mentioned that the Investigation Affairs Personnel, in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower, has created a new code bearing the number 33 for suspicious company transactions, which employers or company delegates submit, from controlling 180 expatriate delegates involved in association with others in facilitating the operations of residency and human trafficking .

He pointed out that the delegates who had been seized were also mentioned in the confessions of a number of violating workers, who were deported from the country, noting that the detectives investigated more than 200 citizens and referred 120 of them to the Public Prosecution, after the dismissed workers and some of the delegates who were arrested admitted them .
