12 Cm Tumor Removed From Brain

Neurologist and Head of the Surgery Unit at Ibn Sinai Hospital Dr Abbas Ramadan and his assistants Dr Ghazi Matar and Dr Osama Ghanim successfully removed a brain tumor that is 12 cms long and weighs 500 grams from a patient who was suffering from chronic headache and poor vision, reports Al- Qabas daily.

The operation was performed at the hospital and was carried out without any complications such as limb pain or loss of speech. The patient was discharged 24 hours later and underwent a CT scan which revealed that the tumor was removed completely.
