100,000 Vaccination Appointments Are Given Every Day

The Cabinet held an extraordinary meeting this evening at Seif Palace headed by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister.

During the meeting, the Minister of Health Sheikh, Dr. Basil Hammoud Al-Sabah talked about the latest developments in the health situation in the country, Al Jarida reported.

He said that the health situation is still witnessing a continuous decline in the number of cases of infections and deaths, the percentage of beds in hospitals, and the number of people receiving treatment in intensive care.

The Council took note of the efforts made by the Ministry of Health to accelerate the vaccination campaign in the country. The health Minister explained to the Council that the National Vaccination Campaign is currently giving 100,000 vaccination appointments per day after increasing the capacity of the vaccination centers to reach more than 100 vaccination centers spread all over the country, to reach the largest segment of registrants in different regions and governorates and to achieve community immunity.
