Kuwait Lists 39 New Covid-19 Cases, One Death

Kuwait’s daily coronavirus cases rose by 39 to 412,371 as deaths increased by one to 2,458, the health ministry said on Monday.

Another 36 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 409,344, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.

The number of people hospitalised with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 20, with seven of them at intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 569 are receiving regular treatment.

Some 19,429 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,602,129, mentioned the official.
