Director of Farwaniya Security Directorate Brigadier General Salah Al-Daas has ordered the referral of an expatriate to the Central Prison to serve his 14-year prison term for trafficking drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source disclosed that the expatriate was arrested at a checkpoint in Sabah Al- Nasser as he was found to have violated the Residency Law. When the arresting officers checked his security records through the Ministry of Interior’s database, they discovered that he is wanted by law for evading the 14 years imprisonment imposed on him as per the final court ruling on his drug trafficking case.

Meanwhile, Divine Providence saved the driver of a four-wheel-drive vehicle that hit a camel along Kabad Highway, reports Al-Anba daily. Traffic police and medical emergency workers rushed to the location immediately after the Operations Unit at the Interior Ministry received information about the accident.
