Unjustified Price Hikes Warned By Commerce Ministry

Commodity dealers whose prices drastically increase will be punished by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the ministry said Thursday.

According to a statement from the ministry, offenders would be subject to the law. Their businesses would be shut down immediately upon discovering the unjustified hike in necessities' prices and they would be referred to the appropriate authorities.

Inspected the local markets as part of the ministry's price-monitoring program.
