Trucker To Be Deported – Cops In Rules Violation
The Environment Police affiliated to the Environment Public Authority have issued citations against two policemen from the Shamiya Police Station, for smoking on the premises and also against a police officer on duty for not preventing the use of ash trays and not reporting the smokers, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Deputy Director of the Environment Public Authority for Regulatory Affairs Mohammed Al-Ahmad during an inspection tour of the Shamiya Police Station caught two policemen smoking. Unfortunately, those who he caught redhanded are familiar with the Environment Law, so he called the environment police who rushed to the place and issued citations against the two policemen and the officer.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations and Security Information Department at the Ministry of Interior commenting on the video clip which went viral in some social media showing a cement mixer driver disposing waste near a main road said stern action has been initiated against the suspect, reports Al-Anba daily.
The department stated as soon as a report was submitted the Environment Control and Inspection Department of the ministry investigated the issue and arrested the suspect. He has been referred to the concerned department to prepare his deportation from the country.
