Traffic Campaign - 910 Citations Issued

Traffic campaigns organized by the traffic and operations sector of the General Traffic Department across the country on Sunday, resulted in the issuance of 910 citations in addition to impounding many vehicles from motorists for reckless driving, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to a statement issued by the GTD, two persons were arrested and handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC) and seven to the Sentences Enforcement Department and 12 others to the competent authority for various reasons. The Al-Anba daily said the campaign was organized under the supervision of Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Operations and Traffic Affairs Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh
