Total Of 241 Expats Arrested For Violating The Law
The Ministry of Interior has reported significant achievements in its ongoing efforts to enforce residency laws in Kuwait. A recent series of inspection campaigns led by the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations department targeted key areas, including Mahboula, Farwaniya, Khaitan, Salmiya, Ardiya, and Amghara. The operations resulted in the apprehension of 241 individuals from various regions who were found to be in violation of the Residency and Work Law.
Among the arrests, three individuals were accused of engaging in begging activities, while 44 violators were discovered working in delivery companies. Additionally, 26 individuals were apprehended for working as daily laborers, further emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to addressing diverse forms of residency law violations.
The inspection campaigns also uncovered two fake maid offices, housing a total of 8 violators. This discovery highlights the Ministry's dedication to tackling fraudulent activities related to residency and work permits.
These targeted efforts signify a crucial step in maintaining the integrity of the residency system in Kuwait, ensuring the fair and lawful employment of individuals within the country.
