This Year, 45 Gcc Plate Cars Were Returned
During the last week, nine vehicles with GCC number plates that had committed traffic violations in Kuwait were returned via the Nuwaiseeb port, according to Brigadier Mishaal Al-Suwaiji, Director of the Technical Inspection Department for the Traffic Sector in the Ministry of Interior. According to a press release by Al-Suwaiji, 45 violating Gulf vehicles have been returned since the beginning of this year.
In addition to these 73 sports cars, there are 73 others which have been blocked due to serious violations. Preparations are being made for their departure from the country within the next few days. According to instructions given to the Undersecretary of the Traffic and Operations Sector, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, these procedures are designed to arrest people who violate the regulations and laws of the General Traffic Department, as well as to remove any Gulf vehicle from the country if its driver has committed an act of recklessness or participated in a race on the public road, putting his life and that of others at risk.
In violation of the country's traffic laws, all evicted vehicles of the types (Z) and (GT) had engaged in drifting, stunts, and reckless driving on streets and highways. According to Al-Suwaiji, all motorists of sports cars must follow traffic rules and regulations, and any vehicle that violates the law will be impounded for a period of two months.
