The Truth Behind The Tragic Events On The Fahaheel Expressway
An investigation into the death of an Indian expatriate on Fahaheel Express Road in the early hours of Saturday has revealed a troubling possibility of suicide. It was discovered that the expatriate had been involved in a traffic accident before tragically ending up under the wheels of a Portuguese national’s four-wheeler.
In an accident on Fahaheel Express Road, headed towards Kuwait City, the deceased Indian was with another expat when he was involved in an accident with a Japanese sedan. In the aftermath of the collision, the Indian expat leaped over the cement barrier onto Fahaheel Road towards Nuwaiseeb and began darting back and forth along the road while vehicles were driving at 120 kph. Despite efforts by several vehicles to avoid him, the Portuguese national ultimately struck him.
During the investigation of the accident scene and the removal of the deceased's body, a Kuwaiti citizen born in 1993 approached security personnel with a video. This footage, captured by his home camera in Abu Ftaira, depicted the expatriate intentionally running in front of oncoming speeding vehicles.
An expatriate who had been accompanying the deceased was detained, and he confirmed the accident, expressing shock over the deceased's unusual behavior. Details of the case have been submitted to the Abu Ftaira police station for further investigation.
