The Ministry Of Health Continues The Periodic Vaccination Campaign For School Students

The Ministry of Health announced that it will continue to implement the activities of the periodic vaccination campaign for school students for three grades, including the fifth, sixth and twelfth grades.

The ministry stated that the vaccination program for fifth and twelfth grade students includes “boys and girls”, for the anti-diphtheria and tetanus vaccine, while the vaccination of sixth grade students for girls is the MMR vaccination, which is an immune vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella.

The Ministry confirmed that the campaign comes in an effort to achieve prevention and immunity for school students from infectious diseases specific to their age group, and also urges parents to register through the link dedicated to the periodic vaccination of school students on the Ministry’s website.

They explained that after registration, an SMS message is sent over the phone with the date and place of the vaccination, confirming the ministry’s endeavor to complete the vaccination of all male and female students in the academic stages (fifth, sixth, and twelfth) for the academic year 2020-2021, in addition to vaccinating male and female students for the academic year 2019-2020 who could not They were vaccinated at that time.

The Ministry commended all the efforts made in preparing and preparing for the campaign, appreciating the efforts of all participating medical staff, and the fruitful cooperation in this regard with the Ministry of Education.
