The Minister Of Health Inspects Health Procedures At Kuwait International Airport
Today, Sunday, Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Hammoud Al-Sabah inspected the health procedures at Kuwait International Airport, with the start of the Cabinet’s decision to allow the reception of non-Kuwaitis from today.
In a press statement, the General Administration of Civil Aviation said that the Minister of Health was briefed during the tour on the department’s preparations to implement health procedures and requirements to prevent the Corona virus.
they added that the President of “Civil Aviation” Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah accompanied the minister during the tour, in addition to the Director General of Civil Aviation, Yousef Al-Fawzan, and a number of officials in the administration.
The Cabinet had decided to enter non-Kuwaitis on the condition that they obtain two doses of vaccines approved in Kuwait and produced by “Pfizer”, “AstraZeneca-Oxford” and “Moderna”, or one dose of the vaccine produced by “Johnson & Johnson”.
The health requirements for non-Kuwaitis to enter the country include conducting two PCR tests, the first of which is 72 hours before arriving in Kuwait, stating that they are free from infection with the Corona virus from the date of the examination to the time of acceptance on the flight, and that no symptoms appear on the traveler such as colds, sneezing, and high fever. Temperature and cough, and the other examination will be during the home quarantine period of seven days after arrival.
