The Kuwaiti Government Takes Legal Action Against Media Threats To National Unity

The Ministry of Interior has launched legal proceedings against individuals found to be jeopardizing national unity through various social media and online platforms.

In a statement, the General Administration of Security Relations and Media disclosed that the ministry has taken action against those who have made derogatory remarks targeting tribes and societal groups.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards verbal or physical abuse, incitement of sectarian or tribal conflicts, promotion of hatred or discrimination, or any form of incitement through social media channels. Emphasizing its unwavering commitment, the ministry asserted that everyone is accountable under the law.
