A Kuwaiti Embassy has urged all citizens living in the Marche region to take precautions following torrential rains. Visitors who wish to visit the area should postpone their trips in order to avoid bad weather conditions.

In a statement issued Saturday, the embassy stressed on the need to follow the instructions and warnings issued by the relevant Italian authorities and urged people in distress to contact the embassy on the following emergency number: "00393428598765 or 0039068078415," according to a local Arabic paper.
