The Blessing Of Liberation

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated citizens and residents of the State of Kuwait on the 63rd National Day and the 33rd Liberation Day, appreciating their joy on these two occasions that embodied their loyalty to Kuwait. His Highness praised all the great efforts made by the security authorities in the Ministries of Interior and Defense and the National Guard, as well as the effective participation made by other official bodies in preparing for the national celebrations, including the Permanent Committee for Celebrating National Holidays, Ministries of Information, Health, Education, Higher Education and the General Fire Force, Kuwait Municipality, and other relevant bodies, in addition to the extensive media coverage. His Highness called on citizens to appreciate the blessing of liberation that Allah almighty bestowed on Kuwait, remembering with pride the honorable martyrs who gave their lives in defending this precious land.

His Highness also sent a greeting of appreciation and reverence to his brothers the leaders of Gulf and Arab countries, for sharing the joy of Kuwait’s national holidays, representing the depth of the bonds of relations between them and Kuwait. His Highness expressed gratitude for their heartfelt sentiments and prayed to Allah Almighty to preserve the dear homeland and perpetuate its security, safety and prosperity. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has received cables of congratulations from senior sheiks and local officials on the 63rd anniversary of the National Day and the 33rd Anniversary of Liberation Day.

The cables were addressed to His Highness the Amir by His Highness Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al- Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah The officials expressed sincere wishes that His Highness the Amir enjoy good health to continue the march of goodness and giving for the dear homeland and achieve further prosperity. His Highness the Amir reciprocated with cables, expressing gratitude and appreciation for the sincere sentiments on the two national occasions, wishing them good health and beseeching His Almighty to safeguard the dear homeland, hoping to see further development achievements and bestow mercy upon the souls of the martyrs. Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Acting Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah sent on Saturday a cable to His Highness the Amir, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, congratulating him on the country’s 63rd National Day and 33rd Liberation Day. In the cable, Sheikh Fahad reiterated belonging and loyalty to the nation, and absolute readiness to defend the dear homeland, wishing His Highness eternal wellness and the nation ever-lasting security and stability under His Highness the Amir’s wise leadership, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Acting Interior Minister also sent a cable to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al- Sabah, congratulating him on the country’s National Day and Liberation Day. Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi on Sunday expressed his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and the gracious people of Kuwait on the national days.
