Teenager Kills Brother Over Trousers Row In Egypt

Near Cairo, Egyptian police arrested a teenager who killed his brother following a dispute over trousers.

According to Akhbar Al Youm, a fight broke out between the 17-year-old boy and his older brother aged 20 after the former put on the older brother's trousers in the family house in Kerdasa.

According to the report, the dispute between the two brothers heated up after their mother tried to resolve it without success.

Angry, the teenager pulled a knife from the kitchen and fatally stabbed his older brother before fleeing amid his mother's cries, according to the report.

A suspect who admitted to the murder was later arrested by police.

The case is being investigated by district prosecutors.
