Teachers Burden To Be Eased By The Education Ministry

Al-Rai daily reports that the Ministry of Education has accepted 87 female candidates holding intermediate certificates to work as supervisor assistants in schools.

There are certain duties that the Ministry has outlined for those holding these positions, which are exclusively reserved for female employees, including supervision of students, monitoring of their attendance and activities during school hours. The source stressed that “the job description for this profession will be fully defined so that the specializations do not overlap.”

According to the source, the number of assistants per school will depend on the number of female candidates for these positions, although usually this number does not exceed two in each school. The distribution of assistants will initially be limited to kindergartens and primary sections, and then extended to other sections if necessary.
