Taxi Driver Deceives By Expat With Fake 20 Dinars

In the Khaitan area, the Criminal Investigation Department of Farwaniya Governorate has initiated an investigation into an expatriate accused of circulating counterfeit currency. In an effort to locate the alleged offender, the victim has identified the location where he was staying. A security source reports that the incident unfolded when an expatriate taxi driver reported encountering another expatriate in Khaitan. It was requested that he be taken to a different location within the same area.

The suspect handed the driver 20 dinars after reaching the destination, and the driver returned 19 dinars. Upon closer inspection, the driver discovered that the 20 dinars paid by the expatriate were counterfeit. The case file includes a photograph of the fake currency.
