Sri Lankans Beat Up Indian
An Indian expatriate sustained a deep cut in his head and injuries to his ears and nose when he was attacked by three Sri Lankan expatriates, reports Al-Rai daily. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about an injured Asian expatriate, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and found the Indian national with a deep cut in his head and bleeding from his ears and nose.
Paramedics rushed him to Mubarak Hospital for treatment. After receiving treatment and obtaining a medical report, the victim lodged a complaint at Al-Naeem Police Station against three Sri Lankan expatriates.
He explained that a brawl broke out in Al-Qasr area between him and one of the suspects. The latter then asked the help of his two friends who then chained him and beat him with an iron rod on his head. Securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the three suspects.
