Souk Sharq Abuzz With Activity Once Again

The fish market in Souk Sharq region is abuzz with activity once again for the first time since the market sometimes wore a deserted look following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The market sources told Al-Anba the improving epidemiological situation in the country has brought a great relief to citizens and residents, thanks to the decision issued by HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled to return life in the country to normal following the significant decline in the number of Corona infections and deaths.

Seafood lovers, afternoon yesterday took part in auction sale of Kuwait mead, a local delicacy during this time of the year as well as the local shrimp. A kilo of shrimp was sold for 3.5 dinars, a kilo of Nuwaibi 2 dinars, a kilo of Kuwaiti Zubaidi 14 dinars, Pakistani Zubaidi between 4.5 and 6 dinars, tilapia 1 dinars, Iranian grouper 3.5 dinars, Iranian balol 4 dinars, big Sebas from 3.5 to 4 dinars and al-Khathqaq was sold for dinar and a quarter.
