Second Siren Trial In Kuwait For Public Safety
In the State of Kuwait, the General Administration of Civil Defense, under the Ministry of Interior's General Administration of Security Relations and Media, will conduct a second trial operation of sirens at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 11/21/2023 across all governorates. We are evaluating the sirens' readiness and ensuring the public is familiar with the three distinct tones they emit, which convey vital information during emergencies. Individuals should adhere to specific instructions that accompany these tones.
In the first tone, an intermittent sound indicates that danger is imminent. The second tone, characterized by a wavy pattern, indicates ongoing danger, while the continuous third tone signals the dissipation of the danger. Additionally, each tone will be followed by introductory voice messages broadcast in Arabic and English, thus improving communication effectiveness.
