Saudi Citizens Attempts Suicide

Public Security officers thwarted the attempt of a 20-year-old Saudi man to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge which is between the Jahra Hospital and Taima. A security source explained after the operations room of the Ministry of Interior received a report that a young man had climbed the top of the bridge trying to commit suicide, securitymen rushed to the site and continued to negotiate with him, but he insisted that he wanted to end his life. In a swift move the securitymen were able to grab the man when he was about to jump. They rescued him and took him to the Al-Naeem Police Station. The source explained the parents of the young man are dead young and he lives with his grandfather. He refused to give reasons why he wanted to end his life.
