Salmiya Liquor Factory Raid: Expatriate Arrested With 123 Bottles Seized
In response to directives from the Sector Undersecretary, Major General Abdullah Al-Rujaib, the Public Security Sector carried out a raid on a local liquor factory located in the Salmiya area, resulting in the arrest of an expatriate.
During the operation, the raiding party confiscated 123 bottles of ready-for-sale alcohol, three barrels filled with prepared alcohol, and various tools and equipment used for the manufacturing, bottling, and packaging of liquor.
In the subsequent interrogation, the apprehended bootlegger confessed to producing approximately 150 bottles of alcohol daily. He revealed that he filled these bottles with the illicit substance, used imported liquor bottles, sealed them convincingly, and sold each bottle for 60 dinars, creating the impression that he was selling imported alcohol.
The suspect, along with the seized items, has been handed over to the competent authority for further legal proceedings. This successful operation reflects the commitment of law enforcement to combat illegal activities and maintain public safety.
