Salman Khan's Tiger 3 Is Banned In Kuwait, Oman, And Qatar
Due to concerns about the negative portrayal of Muslim characters in the Indian film "Tiger 3," which stars Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the film has been banned in Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar. Third in the Tiger series, the film is an action epic.
The newly released movie, released on Diwali Day, broke a new record by becoming the highest-grossing release of the festival. It has been criticized, however, for incorporating anti-Islamic metaphors, particularly in its portrayal of a terrorist organization's leader.
The decision to ban Indian films in Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar is not unprecedented. Due to its portrayal of Muslims as terrorists and the inclusion of dialogue perceived as hostile to Pakistan, the Tamil film "The Beast" was banned in Kuwait and Qatar last year. Furthermore, Kuwait and Oman banned the historical epic "Samrat Prithviraj" for distorting history and offending the Islamic faith
