Cancellation Of "In Zain Al-Zaman" Theatrical Show Due To Legal Implications: Zain's Response

In light of legal proceedings involving the writer and certain actors linked to a television series deemed offensive to Kuwaiti societal values and morals, the competent committee has declined approval and public presentation of the theatrical show.

Zain Company has announced the cancellation of the theatrical show "In Zain al-Zaman" as a demonstration of its commitment to adhering to the directives of the competent authorities. The company emphasizes its respect for Kuwaiti values and morals, expressing full support for the political leadership's efforts to safeguard the nation.

Responding to the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters' letter on April 7, Zain addressed the decision by the competent committee to disapprove and publicly display the play. This action was taken following the referral of the writer and certain actors to the Public Prosecution by the Ministry of Information due to their involvement in a television series that offended Kuwaiti societal values and morals.

While reaffirming its dedication to Kuwaiti values and support for the political leadership, Zain expresses regret and apologizes to its loyal audience for canceling "Fi Zain Al-Zaman." The decision aligns with the directives of the competent authorities. Additionally, the company assures its audience that details regarding ticket refunds will be announced in coordination with Arena Kuwait management.
