Rich Woman Arrested For Swapping Fake Diamonds For Genuine Ones

A rich Kuwaiti woman has been arrested for stealing expensive jewellery, according to Al Qabas.

The 33-year-old distracted staff at jewellery shops to swap fake diamond rings for genuine ones before leaving.

The woman, who lives in an affluent suburb in Kuwait, admitted she had made a lot of money from her thefts.

She told police that she was focused on stealing diamond rings worth more than KD12,000 ($39,480).

The Criminal Investigation Directorate officers put all the shops under surveillance and caught the woman within 15 minutes of her last theft.
