Return To Normal Life In Coming Months, 2 Million To Be Vaccinated By September
The Minister of Health, Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said that life in Kuwait will return to normal in the coming months. The minister expects to vaccinate two million people by September, Al Jarida reported.
The minister also expects that the students will return to schools at the beginning of the new school year in September 2021. He expects to vaccinate one million people by the end of the month of Ramadan and double by September. The schools are expected to reopen in September after the vaccination of all teaching staff.
He called on people to get vaccinated to protect their health and life from coronavirus., He explained that so far 400,000 have been vaccinated. He expects to reach two million by September.
Besides, He said, people working in cooperative societies, barbershops, salons, and banks will also be vaccinated soon. He also warned that measures may be taken after the month of Ramadan against those who have not received the vaccine.
The minister explained that the next plan, which will be implemented after Ramadan, includes preventing those who did not receive the vaccine from entering the cinema and closing the shops that have workers who are not vaccinated.
