Resolution To The Airport’s Administrative Problems
After a report was released regarding Kuwait Airport facing a threat of shutting down following the resignations of 6 employees from Aviation Safety Administration in protest against corruption and falsehood against the employees of the administration, action was taken, according to Al Qabas daily.
The Civil Aviation Administration contacted the employees who resigned from their supervisory positions and promised them that the crisis would be resolved by finding solutions to all the issues that affect the work. The Aviation Safety Administration is a major nerve in the civil aviation sector, for it is in charge of reviewing and approving operational manuals and technical documents necessary for aircraft operations registered in the country, as well as issuing accreditation certificates for pilots licenses for international aviation organizations. In addition to issuing licenses for private aviation flight operations and is involved in communications with international aviation organizations.
The daily reports that the employees who asked to be excused from their supervisory positions continued their work in safety management, after seeking assurances from the civil aviation officials that “the problem is on its way to a solution.”
