Renovation Resumes: Darwaza Al-Abdulrazzaq Tunnel In Kuwait City

After nearly five years, the Ministry of Public Works has recommenced renovation efforts on the Darwaza Al-Abdulrazzaq tunnel in Kuwait City.

Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, emphasized the tunnel's strategic importance at the heart of Kuwait's capital. The ministry is keen to expedite the completion of this project.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Works anticipate that the maintenance work on the Darwaza tunnel will conclude within seven months. Subsequently, the tunnel is expected to open to the public within three months of the project's completion.

The renovation entails comprehensive repairs to both the upper and lower sections of the tunnel, ensuring the junction's overall safety and enhancing its functionality.
