Record Drop In Covid Cases On Friday

On Friday, August 6th, Kuwait recorded a record drop in the number of daily infection. The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, informed that Kuwait registered 596 new cases of coronavirus (Covid 19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 402293.

Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency that five deaths were also recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,361.

He added that 961 people recovered on Friday, bringing the total number of people recovered to 390,759, indicating that the percentage of total recovery cases out of the total injuries amounted to 97.13 percent.

He stated that the number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 256, while the total number of active cases is 9173.
