Ratnagiri Xi Crowned Kokan Cup 2018-19 Champions
In the final of the Kokan Cup 2018-2019, a cricket tournament organized by Guhagar Cricket Club, Ratnagiri XI proved to be worthy Champions by comprehensively defeating Kokan Chargers by 35 runs. Shoheb Majgonkar was declared the Man of the Match. The Ratnagiri XI which made its debut in this tournament became the first team to win the finals in tennis ball tournament in Kuwait.
The semifinalists were Ratnagiri XI, Kokan Chargers, Kalusta XI and Jeete Cricket Club while the All Ratnagiri XI and Kokan Chargers prevailed the battle for the Grand Finale. A total of 24 teams participated in the tournament fielding players from all over India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The teams were divided into 4 groups of 6 teams each. The tournament was played on the league-cumknockout basis. The knockout format was applied in the quarter-finals rounds.

The presentation ceremony was graced by a huge crowd of cricket fans, men, women and children. The organizers thanked all the sponsors, chief guests, participants and supporters for their contributions in making the event a grand success.
Viviani. Italy’s Viviani claimed time bonuses on the fi rst two intermediate sprints and his leading group stayed away from the peloton until there were only 31.5 kilometers remaining. At that point another group, featuring some of the original leaders, tried again to put a break on the bunch but with 20 kilometers remaining there was a single leader.
