Rain Forecast For Tuesday And Wednesday

22 October 2023 Weather in Kuwait

In the days ahead, Kuwait will see cloudy to partly cloudy conditions accompanied by northerly to northeasterly winds, according to meteorologist Muhammad Karam.

It is anticipated that the winds will shift from light to moderate southeasterly on Tuesday, bringing scattered rain both Tuesday and Wednesday. On the Arabian Peninsula, some thunderstorms may occur intermittently due to the African monsoon depression.

The chances of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday may be accompanied by thunder, according to Karam. On Thursday and Friday, he predicted relatively stable weather, followed by a resurgence of clouds on Saturday and rain on Sunday. Additionally, Karam pointed out that maximum daytime temperatures are expected to gradually decline, ranging between 34 and 35 degrees Celsius.

He ruled out any significant impacts from the hurricane that is expected to hit the coast of the Sultanate of Oman soon.

The anticipated Oman hurricane, according to meteorologist Fahd Al-Otaibi, may turn into a tropical storm after hitting the Omani coast, potentially causing thunderstorms and strong winds. As far as the Sultanate and northern Yemen are concerned, the hurricane's impact will be limited.  Al-Otaibi indicated that Kuwait should expect cloudy to partly cloudy weather in the coming days. Toward the end of the weekend, scattered light rain is possible, and rain chances are expected to return by the middle of the next week.
