Police Raided An Apartment And Arrested Two Asians For Bootlegging

Acting on a tip-off the Farwaniya police raided an apartment in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and arrested two Asians for bootlegging, reports Al-Anba daily. According to police sources the bootleggers had turned the apartment into a mini factory to manufacture booze. Police have confiscated from the men 7,000 bottles of local booze, manufacturing equipment and barrels filled with brew. They have been handed over to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control.The Farwaniya police have arrested an Indian who was caught in Khaitan with 336 bottles of locally-manufactured booze, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect was caught when he was seated next to his vehicle. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities.
