Police Arrests 69 Illegal Expats For Running Fake Maids Offices

The Ministry of Interior has announced that it has arrested 69 people for running 11 fake domestic workers hiring offices. Those arrested are believed to be residence law violators and have been referred to the concerned authority. A security source told the Al-Seyassah daily that the Residency Affairs Investigations Department continues its campaigns against residence law violators who work for others and those who shelter the violators (domestic workers). The sources said the department has launched a widespread campaign against these violators after increasing complaints have been filed by sponsors against absconding workers.
