Police Arrested Eight Drug Addicts In Jahra
Under the supervision of the Acting Director General of Jahra Security, Brigadier General Saleh Al-Azme, and Director of Operations Department, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Ibrahim, the Jahra Security Directorate arrested eight drug users and seized narcotics and paraphernalia from them.
According to Al-Anba daily, police made the first arrest at a checkpoint in the Al-Naim area, where they confiscated shabu sachets, chemical bags, hashish cigarettes, and drug paraphernalia from the suspects.
Another arrest occurred at a checkpoint in Saad Al-Abdullah when a four-wheel drive driver climbed on the sidewalk to avoid the checkpoint. Upon being forced to stop, he showed signs of fear and confusion, and he was found to be in possession of marijuana cigarettes and drug paraphernalia when he was searched as a precaution.
A third incident occurred in Taima, where three people were arrested for drug use and possession of Captagon-type narcotic pills, hashish cigarettes, and drug paraphernalia while driving a sports car.
A fourth seizure was made in Al-Waha, forcing the driver to pull over, and the driver and his passenger were under the influence of drugs.
They tried escaping on foot in vain when they were about to get in the police car. Two packages of narcotic hashish as well as shabu and narcotic pills were seized from them by the police.
