Police Arrest Expat Drug Trafficker In Covert Operation

Farwaniya police successfully apprehended an expatriate drug dealer in the Khaitan area, seizing 57 bags of crystal meth and heroin during a well-coordinated operation. Simultaneously, Operations Support Patrol officers, under the supervision of Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Mutairi, conducted a thorough security and traffic campaign in Wafra and Al-Julaiah, resulting in multiple arrests and vehicle seizures.

According to a security source, the Director of Farwaniya Investigations acted on confidential information about a narcotics trader in Khaitan. After days of surveillance, the suspect, in his thirties, was identified as an expatriate. A strategic plan was devised, involving a covert source and a narcotics purchase agreement. The suspect was arrested during the exchange near a Khaitan café, and 57 bags of heroin and crystal meth were confiscated.

During interrogation, the arrested individual admitted to engaging in the drug trade over an extended period, sourcing substances from an unidentified supplier. Both the suspect and the seized narcotics were subsequently handed over to the Public Prosecution.

Meanwhile, Operations Support Patrol officers, led by Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Mutairi, targeted Wafra and Al-Julaiah areas in a comprehensive security and traffic campaign. The operation resulted in the apprehension of 10 individuals wanted for various offenses and residency law violations, representing diverse Asian and Arab nationalities.

Furthermore, 10 vehicles were seized due to reckless driving and noise disturbances from exhaust systems, leading to drivers being referred to the traffic detention garage. The campaign identified 13 additional violations and issued 32 traffic citations, contributing to enhanced security and order in the targeted areas.
