Pawh Warns The Sabah Al-ahmad Residential Housing Contractor

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has warned the contractor of 40 vertical housing buildings in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City project consisting of 740 apartments (the cost of the project is 74,896,581 dinars) because the project is 84.30 %, although as per the terms of the contract it should have been 100% complete.

The Al-Anba daily quoting sources said the project suffers from delays and should have been handed over in June 2021 and at the current pace of work it is expected to be completed at the end of January 2022.

The sources confirmed the PAHW had warned the contractor, stressing that the proportions of the basic works, such as the concrete structure, the site are complete 100%, wall finishes 88%, floor finishes 57%, electricity, telephone and alarm 81%, and sanitary works, fire 68%, aluminum 76%, metalwork 75%, roofing 63%, external cladding 88%, mechanical works 86%, and external services 94%.
