Patrols In Kuwait End 2023 With Arrests And Seizures Of Vehicles

Kuwait General Directorate of Traffic announced today, Sunday, that patrols from the General Directorate of Rescue Police have successfully apprehended numerous violators, including wanted individuals, and handed them over to the appropriate authorities during their field operations.

On the "X" platform, the Traffic Department shared a weekly statistical report revealing 23 individuals had been sent to the General Administration for Drug Control.

As well, 12 people wanted for various offenses, 10 without proof of identity, and an equal number without valid residency permits were arrested. Additionally, two individuals were apprehended for violating environmental laws.

In the report, 144 vehicles and 47 motorcycles were impounded, and 30 wanted vehicles were seized. In total, 1,425 incidents were addressed by the patrols, including 255 serious accidents.
