Patent Fast Track Is Activated For The First Time By The Ku Research Sector

Dr. Hanin Shafeeq Al-Ghabra, Assistant Vice President of Kuwait University for External Research Cooperation and Consultation, announced that the university's research sector is currently working with the USPTO to activate the Fast Track service, which is designed to cut the time required for patent registration from three years to one year.

Al-Ghabra stated that this is done to make it simpler for researchers and encourage them to file more new patents. According to Al-Ghabra, the Kuwait University has worked to support and care for the discoveries made by its researchers ever since it was founded. By encouraging these researchers to make ground-breaking discoveries and achieve greatness, the university hopes to improve both its own standing internationally and the economic and industrial standing of the State of Kuwait.
