Over A Million Sahel App Users
According to Al-Rai daily, Youssef Kazem, spokesman for the Sahel unified government application for electronic services (Sahel), the application has reached more than one million and 108,000 users in a year and a half after launch on September 15, 2021. According to Kazem, Sahel is one of the digital products the Council of Ministers is proud to launch to facilitate the electronic completion of government transactions.
According to the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), it has registered over one million users to date. More than 10.6 million transactions have been implemented through it during the aforementioned period. The number of government agencies that joined Sahel has risen to 29. It initially had only 12 agencies at the time of its launch.
In today's government application, there are 284 main services available to citizens and residents. In his view, the most popular government services through Sahel are renewals of civil cards (the Public Authority for Civil Information), followed by the release of high school results (Ministry of Education), the inquiry about a certificate (Civil Service Commission), the service of the results of transportation classes (Ministry of Education), and inquiries about missing students (Ministry of Education).
