New Schools Open To Serve An Expanding Student Population

25 September 2023 Education

Muhammad Al-Ajmi, Director of the Farwaniya Educational Zone, said the Ministry of Education is working hard to meet the new academic year requirements in all schools in the area, including the new ones, which were commissioned in the current academic year.

In a press statement issued yesterday during his inspection of West Abdullah Al-Mubarak schools and supervision of furniture delivery to Al-Dougha Secondary School, Al-Ajmi said the student density in other schools called for the opening of a number of new schools in the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area to deal with population growth and student density in neighboring residential areas that receive students from the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.

The educational zone provided more than 270 tables and chairs for students of Al-Douga Secondary School yesterday morning, in addition to the chairs and tables that were previously available.

Based on the address on the students' civil identification cards, 660 students were accepted after a large turnout, and the school's furniture needs were met.

It is the educational zone's goal to overcome all obstacles the students may face and to meet their school requirements.

In West Abdullah Mubarak, six new schools of varying levels of education have been opened by the ministry.

All residents of the area enrolled their children in these schools, with recommendations to be flexible when dealing with parents in regards to registering their children.

The educational zone continued to provide all basic services, including air conditioning and water coolers, as well as human resources, including teachers, administrators, and supervisors, as well as cleaning workers, nutritional meals for kindergarten students, and guards.

There were 1,892 chairs and tables in the educational zone. The Supply and Warehouse Department provided 1,900 tables and chairs for the new schools.

Through continuous communication with the supply and warehouse department, they follow up with school administrations to meet any needs.

The educational zone administration is keen to simplify and streamline procedures and provide all services to the clients, according to Al-Ajmi.

We have 23,200 supervisory and administrative employees in the waiting lounge, along with 75,000 students studying in 166 schools and kindergartens."

From May to now, Al-Ajmi explained, the waiting hall in the area has received about 11,000 transactions. Through the efforts of all workers, they strive to provide services in the shortest possible time and in a way that is consistent with the speed of time. This service is not only available to parents and students, but also to all employees and workers in the Farwaniya Educational Zone, including teachers, administrators, and technicians. In addition, a special corner has been set aside for the elderly and people with special needs.
