Naval Drill Using Live Ammunition Tuesday, Sea-goers Warned

The Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwait Army announced Sunday that Kuwait’s naval force will carry out training exercises using live ammunition the day after tomorrow (Tuesday) from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The Chief of General Staff, in a statement warned sea-going citizens and residents, and fishermen and hiking enthusiasts, to stay away from that the marine shooting range at a distance of 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Julai’a, an extension of Qaroh Island, and a distance of 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour, an extension to Umm Al-Maradem Island. It called on all sea-goers not to approach the aforementioned area during the announced period, in order to ensure the safety of all.
