Nas And Igc Authorized For Pcr Testing Of Travelers From Kuwait
National Aviation Services (NAS) is pleased to announce that all travelers departing from Kuwait can now get PCR testing done through the International German Company (IGC). The exclusive partnership is authorized to test passengers travelling out of Kuwait that require a PCR test certificate. Travelers can book an appointment for testing through the kuwaitmosafer.com portal.
Mansour Al-Kheziem, General Manager, NAS Kuwait said “NAS had been providing aviation and airport services in Kuwait since 2003. We are pleased to partner with International German Company (IGC), a reputable and Ministry of Health (MOH) authorized organization, to conduct PCR testing for departing passengers in Kuwait.
A number of countries require the PCR test certificate on arrival and we have done our best to make the process faster, simpler and smoother for all travelers. Integrating a number of functionalities to facilitate seamless travel, we enable passengers to book PCR test appointments, issue the certification and get the authorized certificate scanned at check-in for a relaxed travel experience.”
All the passenger information registered on kuwaitmosafer.com will be treated with the utmost privacy and confidentiality. Travelers can choose to do the test at any of the locations available across Kuwait. New locations will continue to be added. A list of testing locations is available on kuwaitmosafer.com.
Prof. Dr Eyad Al Saleh, President and CEO of IGC explained “Through our officially licensed virology laboratory “New Kuwait German Lab”, we upgraded our capability of handling sufficient number of tests per day for travelers and ensure that their results are made available on schedule. IGC strictly follows rules and regulations of Ministry of Health regarding the Covid-19 testing for all patients and passengers. We also follow all the precautionary protocols to ensure the safety of any visitors to our testing locations.”
Test results will be available within 36 hours and if negative, the certificates will be sent by SMS and email to the travelers. NAS strongly advises all travelers to check the PCR testing, quarantine procedures and visa requirements for their respective destinations. This should be done well in advance of their flights to ensure that they book the test according to the required timelines.
Some countries may require test results to be issued within a specified time, before travel. Appointments should be taken accordingly to ensure that the certificates are issued on time, prior to departure. An original, printed test certificate can be issued on request.
