Municipality Workers Removed Tons Of Destroyed Veggies And Fruits
Kuwait Municipality workers removed used furniture and destroyed tons of vegetables, fruits and second-hand clothing seized during an inspection tour of makeshift markets in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh by hawkers team affiliated to the General Sanitation Department.
Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality stated the team embarked on campaign to makeshift markets in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area and seized 4 tons of vegetables, fruits, and second-hand clothing, as well as furniture. Director of Public Relations at the Farwaniya Municipal Branch Saad Al-Khreinej stated the team issued a violation against a person for selling birds.
;He advised the general public against dealing with hawkers, especially as they do not possess health certificates. He noted foodstuffs displayed in the open for sale become unwholesome due to hot temperature, which makes it unfit for consumption.
