Moh Planning To Use Remdesivir On Covid Patients

The Ministry of Health is about to use the Remdesivir medicine with patients infected with the Corona virus of 'mild to moderate' cases, after it recorded positive results in many countries for critical cases or those that require hospitalization,, local daily Al-Qabas reported.

The ministry is closely following all reports and official statements issued by global health organizations about vaccines and medicines used with Covid 19 patients, the latest of which is the approval of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to expand the use of the drug Remdesivir to include some adults and children infected with the virus from moderate cases, the report added.

Meanwhile, the number of those who received the booster dose in Kuwait rose to 638,000 citizens and residents as of yesterday noon.
