Ministry Of Public Works Reveals Comprehensive Road Maintenance Contracts

The Ministry of Public Works in Kuwait has unveiled a series of contracts designed to undertake extensive maintenance of the country's road infrastructure across various governorates. These contracts are open to local, Gulf, and international companies and are set to be implemented over a period of 1,095 days.

As reported by Al-Qabas daily, the outlined objectives of these contracts encompass a range of tasks including general maintenance of roads, squares, and small construction works, emergency repairs, and miscellaneous tasks such as asphalt or tile installations. Additionally, the contracts include maintenance and construction of pressure and gravity lines in the sanitary sewage network, installation and maintenance of road signs, traffic signs, safety barriers, and more.

Furthermore, the Ministry has proposed a dedicated maintenance contract for Al-Salmi Road, with the aim of improving highway efficiency, enhancing safety measures, and addressing asphalt maintenance and bridge expansion joint issues.
